I started working as an Associate Consultant for Clinique when I was 18 (I can’t believe it’s been 6 years already)! Now that I have a full-time job, I don’t work for Clinique as much as I used to, but it’s still one of my favorite cosmetic brands. Clinique isn’t just my favorite because I work for them; they actually have really good products and I’m so excited to share some of my all-time favorites with you!
Before I get into the products, I want to tell you a bit about my skin. I have oily, acne-prone skin and none of these products irritate it or cause me to break out! My face also gets super dry in the winter months and if I don’t moisturize properly, I’ll get dry patches. So, if you have similar skin concerns, I’m sure some of these products will end up being your favorites too (if they’re not already)!
1. Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser
I.love.this.stuff! Seriously! I have been using this makeup remover for years and it’s fantastic! It’s great for dry-combination to combination-oily skin. It’s oil-free and literally gets every speck of makeup off of my face, even if it’s waterproof (a little goes a long way with this stuff). It has a really rich formula and always leaves my face feeling clean and fresh. I always use it before I wash my face with my cleanser.
2. Pep-Start Exfoliating Cleanser
I’ve been using this 2-in-1 product for almost a year now. I started using it because my skin was very dry and flaky and I needed something to get rid of the dead skin on my face. After a few uses, I realized that, in addition to removing the dead skin, it was calming my breakouts as well. I then looked at the ingredients and saw that salicylic acid was one of them. This was great for me because I love any products that have acne-fighting ingredients. This cleanser also has microscopic exfoliating beads in it, making it gentle enough to use up to twice a day. I love that it makes my face feel smooth and look more radiant after every use.
3. Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate
If you guys follow me on Instagram then you already know how much I love this stuff. I got it as a sample in my gift-with-purchase from Clinique. I decided to give it a try since I was looking for a new moisturizer. I liked that this product was water-based and oil-free so I tried it out and I’ve been hooked ever since. It feels like a light-weight serum. Once you put it on and it starts to try, it feels a bit sticky which makes it a perfect primer for makeup. After a few minutes of drying, the stickiness goes away and you can’t even tell it’s there. It keeps my skin hydrated and super smooth all day! Most importantly, it’s the one moisturizer that hasn’t made my face break out! I’ll definitely be keeping this on my counter.
4. All About Eyes eye cream
This cream is perfect for puffy eyes. I like to put it on in the morning after I wash my face and it gets rid of the look of puffs after a few minutes. It also feels so velvety and smooth and keeps my eyelids hydrated all day. It’s works great alone and whenever I wear it underneath my makeup. Another one of my favorite eye creams by Clinique is their Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle Correcting cream; I use them both interchangeably!
5. Chubby Plump & Shine Liquid Lip Plumping Gloss
I recently started using these after I saw them on display at Sephora. I purchased one in the color “Normous Nude” and I loved it! I’m normally not a gloss girl, but I really liked the color and was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on. Yes, it’s glossy but not too glossy, especially after it starts to dry. It also gives you a tingly, refreshing feeling when you apply it. Speaking of tingly, this gloss is supposed to make your lips look more plump. I already have full lips, so I can’t say that I notice much of a difference with regard to that, but I still love it! I like that it adds a hint of color to my lips and it also lasts for a long time. If I don’t want that super glossy look, I’ll pair this with a lipstick to tone down the shine. That’s the other great thing about these; they’re great alone and when mixed with other shades! (PS: I liked my first chubby stick so much that I went back and got another one in the color “pink and plenty!)
So, there you have it–my top 5 Clinique must-haves! I hope that you guys will try some of these if you haven’t already! What are your Clinique favorites? Let me know in the comments!
